Las estaciones de caña tenían buzones de metal para colocar los conduces. Cada vagón tenía un conduce. Los conduces tenían información como el número del vagón llenado, donde y como se recogió la caña entre otros datos (Ver foto de un conduce). La persona encargada de la estación le entregaba al conductor del tren un conduce por cada vagón llenado. Esto se hacía personalmente. Pero si el personal no estaba en la estación se echaban los conduces en el buzón.
No se acostumbraba mover un vagón lleno sin un conduce. En la central se pesaban los vagones para conocer el peso de su contenido. El peso del vagón se conocía por su número, el cual estaba escrito en el conduce.

Cane stations had metal boxes for waybill / bill of lading forms. Each loaded wagon had a waybill which included car number, information about how and where the cane was harvested, etc. Waybills were usually given personally by the person in charge of the station to the conductor of the train. However, waybills were put in the boxes if they could not be delivered personally.
Cars without a waybill were usually not moved. At the mill, cars were weighed in order to know the weight of the contents. The weight of the cars was known by their number, which was written on the waybill.
